Giving Back To The Private Hire Community

Here at Otto Car we’re all about helping PCO drivers succeed, whether it’s on or off the road.

Over the past year we’ve hosted a variety of events, from the Otto WinterFest event to the Otto Cricket Cup competition. These were amazing opportunities for PCO drivers to get together, make new friends, share experiences and win some prizes!

We also wanted to give back to the wider community, which is why for our sports events we donated to charities on behalf of the drivers. The chosen charities so far have been Shelter and Lonely Orphans who do amazing work in their fields.

Otto Talent Competition

From guitarists to photographers, we had hundreds of entries for the final where the private hire community voted for their favourite. The winning entry was Sohaib, who won £1,000!

Otto Cricket Cup

We hosted the first ever PCO Driver cricket tournament in London. PCO Drivers from across the capital joined us for a fun day out in the sun playing cricket, meeting other drivers, winning cash prizes and enjoying some lovely Indian food.

Otto Mini Grand Prix

Ready, set, GO! Otto Car hosted the first ever PCO driver Mini Grand Prix. With a practice run, qualifiers and two finals, PCO drivers got to test their skills on the track for a chance to win a £50 voucher.

The Otto Cup

Despite the rain, we had a fantastic turn out with a two legged final between Leytonstone FC and London FC. The winning team won £250 and we donated to the charity of their choice.

Otto WinterFest

To see off 2019, we put together an event for our drivers, staff and their families. There was plenty to do, with activities for both kids and adults. We finished the night off with a food buffet and a raffle.
