  • Consistently stay under 400 miles per week

  • Prefer to work seasonally
  • Have recently reduced their driving hours

It’s ideal for lower-mileage drivers looking for a structured, cost-efficient weekly rental.

If you regularly drive higher mileage, one of our other plans - such as our PCO Car Hire or Rent to Buy plans - may be more suitable, with mileage allowances of up to 1,000 miles per week.

How many miles are included in the Part-time PCO Car Hire plan?

The plan includes 400 miles per week. This is a fixed weekly mileage cap.

If you exceed 400 miles in any week, excess mileage will be charged at the applicable per-mile rate.

If you consistently exceed the mileage cap, our team may recommend switching you to one of our plans with a mileage allowance of 1,000 miles per week, which may work out more cost-effective.

Can I switch from the Part-time PCO Car Hire plan to a different plan later?

Yes. If your driving hours increase or you are regularly close to the mileage cap, we can help you transition to one of our higher-mileage plans once you have completed your 4-week minimum term.

Can I switch to the Part-time PCO Car Hire plan?

If your hours have reduced and you are consistently under 400 miles per week, you may be eligible to move to our Part-time PCO Car Hire plan (subject to qualification and approval).

Am I eligible for Part-time PCO Car Hire?

To be eligible for the Part-time PCO Car Hire plan, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Minimum age of 25 years old (maximum 65 years old).
  • Experience: No prior experience required; new drivers accepted.
  • Driving licence: Must have a UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year, with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • Insurance: Maximum 2 fault accidents in the last 3 years (no claimed history may be required).
  • Convictions: No major driving offences (this is reviewed as part of your application).
  • Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) licence: Must already hold a valid TfL PHV licence and be registered with at least one licensed operator in London.

Please note, our team will also ask you about your average weekly mileage and hours on the road to make sure this is the right plan for you.
