Here at Otto Car, our mission is to support PCO drivers to become car owners. We understand that simply offering fully-electric cars isn’t enough, so we are always on the lookout for new ways to help private hire drivers succeed.
Having that in mind, we are updating the names of our PCO Car Ownership plans to simplify things and better reflect their true value.
What are the changes?
We’ve changed the names of our PCO Car Ownership plans to make them clearer and more straightforward.
Friendly Finance, the basic car package, is now called Rent 2 Buy.
The Rent 2 Buy scheme, the classic and popular all-in-one package that you all know and love, is now called Rent 2 Buy +.
We know it’s a bit confusing, but both schemes will stay the same in terms of features, eligibility, and contract lengths, just with updated names.
What’s Rent 2 Buy to be precise?
Whether it’s Rent 2 Buy or Rent 2 Buy +, they are a long term option for PCO drivers to drive towards PCO car ownership. You will pay weekly rental fees for the duration of their Rent 2 Buy or Rent 2 Buy + contract, and as simple as that, at the end of the term, you’ll fully own the car!
The main difference between the 2 schemes is what they include – one is an all-inclusive solution with our complete support, the other is a simple car package.

We understand that not all PCO drivers are looking for an all-inclusive car package, and that’s perfectly alright.
Rent 2 Buy offers you an affordable and flexible solution to PCO car ownership without insurance and MOT like what you would get on Rent 2 Buy +. We provide the car, and the rest is up to you. Available across England and Wales.

Unlike Rent 2 Buy, our Rent 2 Buy + scheme is a 360 solution for a hassle-free, trustworthy and simple PCO driving experience.
Your PCO car comes with free PCO insurance, servicing, MOT, road tax, PHV licence and breakdown cover.

All-inclusive ownership scheme
Insurance, servicing, MOT, road tax and PHV licence are all included in this complete PCO driver package.
Fixed down payments & weekly fees
There’s just one simple standard price for each car.
No credit check
There’s no credit check, and we won’t tie you into a never-ending contract like traditional finance companies.
8 weeks holiday allowance each year
Drivers are eligible for up to 8 weeks of holiday payment break every year.
