Why the Skoda Enyaq is a great PCO car

We love reviewing the latest PCO cars in the private hire market. Previously we explained why we think the Tesla Model 3 and Volkswagen ID.3 are amazing PCO cars, and next up is the Skoda Enyaq.
To help you decide whether it’s the perfect Uber car for you, we’ve put together a guide to the best features of this popular car, and here are some of our favourites:
Range of up to 256 miles
The longer range a PCO car has, the more trips you can get on a single charge. The Skoda Enyaq iV 60 we currently offer features a 58kWh battery capable of travelling up to 256 miles, which is pretty decent and plenty for inner London’s roads and a couple of shifts.
The real-world EV range depends on a lot of factors, including speed, temperature, road conditions and more.

Spacious and practical
Unlike conventional ICE vehicles, EVs generally have a more spacious interior because they have fewer moving parts. As the brand’s first purpose built electric car, the Skoda Enyaq iV has a roomy and practical cabin, with ample headroom and legroom especially at the back. It has a massive boot too, with a capacity of 585 litres with the rear bench in place and 1,710 folded. Sounds perfect for your airport trips?
Premium touch
As you may know, the Skoda Enyaq iV, the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Audi Q4 e-tron are from the same family, which means they’re built on the same MEB platform from the Volkswagen Group. It comes as no surprise that the design of the Enyaq feels comfortable and premium – in other words, spending less but getting more!
Stylish design
The Skoda Enyaq iV is a good-looking private hire car, combining the best of the brand’s traditional design with a more modern and futuristic style. What’s more, its sleek shape with the angled A-pillar does not only create a bolder look, but it also means it is more aerodynamic and potentially has more usable range.
Great value
Being a fully electric PCO car, the Skoda Enyaq iV is Congestion Charge exempt until 2025, and you don’t need to pay for the ULEZ charge. Eligible private hire drivers can also use their Uber Clean Air Plan funds to reduce the weekly payments.

The award-winning Skoda Enyaq iV is a great all-rounder. It has a comfortable, spacious interior and a top quality design. It won’t be the fastest or most exciting car to drive, but it’s highly-rated and offers great value for money.
The popular PCO car is now available on our PCO Car Hire, Rent 2 Buy and Rent 2 Buy + plans. It is also eligible for our newly introduced scheme Career Boost – where rental drivers can move all the PCO Car Hire payments to a new Rent 2 Buy + contract after the first three months*.
