Autopay set up for Dart and Congestion charges

At Otto Car, we help private hire drivers focus on what matters – earning a living.

To make things easier for you, all of our PCO cars are registered with Dartford Charge and Congestion Charge autopay.

The PCN for not paying the Dart Charge and Congestion Charge are £70 and £160 respectively. But we’re here to provide a stress-free PCO driving experience. Since your car is registered with autopay, you have nothing to worry about.

How it works

If you’re on our PCO Car Hire, Rent 2 Buy or Rent 2 Buy + plan, Dart and Congestion charges will be made automatically. That said, you won’t need to pay per individual trip. We will simply total up the fees into one simple weekly payment*. Easy life.

What if you’ve made the payment yourself

We’ve noticed a trend that some drivers pay the Dart Charge and Congestion Charge by themselves. If you settled the payment – which means you’ve paid it twice, please contact Dart Charge or Congestion Charge authorities with your receipt for a refund.

What is the Dartford Crossing Charge

The Dart Charge is a £2.50 (£2.00 if you have an account) charge if you use the Dartford Crossing between 6am and 10pm including weekends and bank holidays.

What is the Congestion Charge

The Congestion Charge is a £15 daily charge if you drive within the Congestion Charge zone between 7am and 6pm Monday-Friday and 12pm and 6pm Sat-Sun and bank holidays. Fully electric cars don’t have to pay the charge until 2025.
